easyJet Announces the Acquisition of Adria Tehnika

Adria Tehnika will become part of the easyJet group following the completion of regulatory procedures. easyJet, one of Europe’s largest airlines, has signed an agreement to acquire our maintenance centre, where we have been performing extensive maintenance work on their Airbus fleet for many years.

Our infrastructure includes hangars with five maintenance lines, where we have carried out more than 200 major maintenance checks for easyJet over the past decade. The acquisition represents the next step in deepening our long-standing partnership and opens new opportunities for further development.

The acquisition is still subject to regulatory approval, with completion expected in early 2026. After the transaction, Adria Tehnika will continue to operate in Slovenia, and the company will remain under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Barbara Perko Brvar.

Brendan McConnellogue, Director of Engineering & Maintenance at easyJet:
“We have been working with Adria Tehnika for almost a decade, and we are pleased that the team will now be joining the easyJet group. To date, we have entrusted them with more than 200 major maintenance tasks, and the quality and expertise of their team have convinced us that Adria Tehnika is the right partner for our long-term strategy of bringing more maintenance in-house.”

Barbara Perko Brvar, Chief Executive Officer of Adria Tehnika:
“We are pleased that easyJet has recognised Adria Tehnika as a strategic investment. Our long-standing experience, expertise, and reliability have positioned us among the leading maintenance organisations in the region. Becoming part of the easyJet group will enable us to accelerate our development, expand our capabilities, and create new opportunities for our employees.
